Katrina Browne

Biography

Katrina is based in our Tauranga office and has a wide range of environmental management and strategic advisory experience across government, industry, and private sectors in New Zealand. With a Master of Science and over 13 years of experience as an environmental professional, Katrina is passionate about building collaborative relationships and finding effective, workable solutions to improve environmental performance.

Recognised for her ability to build rapport and enduring relationships with people from a wide variety of backgrounds, Katrina is a sought-after environmental advisor, project coordinator and facilitator. Her experience ranges from ‘hands on’ in the field through to high-level strategic problem solving and stakeholder engagement.

She has extensive experience in risk management and is skilled in identifying, prioritising and identifying clear actions to manage risk, to focus and empower clients to reach their potential. She also strongly believes in the importance of mātauranga Māori and has proven experience in tāngata whenua engagement, particularly around issues of kaitiakitanga.
