Biography
Tim is an experienced consultant based in our Brisbane office with over 20 years’ experience in the acoustic consulting field. Throughout his career Tim has worked across a diverse range of building, infrastructure, industrial, transportation and mining projects. Tim particularly enjoys noise and vibration problem solving and takes pride in providing pragmatic, best for project acoustic solutions whilst achieving positive outcomes for his Clients.
Tim’s is the Technical Discipline Manager for SLR’s APAC wide Acoustic and Vibration team comprising 70 staff across Australia and New Zealand. The role includes a combination of technical work, client, people management, and financial oversight.
Tim maintains an active role within the Acoustic Community. Over the past decade Tim volunteered his time as Secretary for the Association of Australasian Acoustical Consultants (AAAC), a not for profit body representing professionals who are involved in delivering acoustic solutions to a wide range of clients and the community. Separately Tim is on the Queensland committee for the Australian Acoustic Society (AAS), a learned society that promotes the science and practice of acoustics. Tim is also a member of Engineers Australia (MIEAust).
